COOKING CLASSES

To enrich our guests experience in Chianti, Casa Sola is pleased to offer cooking classes.  Lead by a local chef, instruction in the traditional techniques of the Tuscan kitchen are combined with Italian language and culture. Classes may be individual, taught directly in the apartment.  Larger group lessons may be arranged in the Casa Sola wine tasting room.  Lessons are  typically 4 hours in duration.  Supplies are sourced locally and take advantage of seasonal abundance of fresh vegetables, herbs, fruit and nuts, Casa Sola olive oil - ingredients typical of the healthy Mediterranean diet.  As a gift, Casa Sola offers a bottle of Chianti Classico DOCG to enjoy with your meal. Students will learn how to prepare antipasti, a first (primi) or second (secondi) dish and a desert (dolci).  Class menus currently include how to make fresh pasta or prepare risotto, tiramisu or fruit desert.  Lessons may be based on a flavour, theme or a local seasonal speciality.  Classes are interactive, encouraging students to have enough knowledge and confidence to prepare the meal in their own home.  As an option, why not enjoy a home cooked meal-  Casa Sola will also arrange a personal chef service, dinner taken to the apartment.

Please make arrangements at the Casa Sola office, a minimum 48 hours in advance for all classes or chef service.

Hi Giovanna- We are back in the USA- Chicago, Il. We traveled from Venice to the Florence area and Rome and our favorite meal was YOURS. We held all the other eating experiences up to your cooking. We had a good meal in Dudda and one in Rome, but you still won as the favorite (…) I am sure you know that her daughter loved the experience of "cooking" with you. Here are some of the pictures.
